Pavement recently partnered Fetzer Vineyards to create Beckon from Santa Maria Valley, California. We created the brand concept, name and label design for this amazing Pinot Noir from the famed Bien Nacido Vineyards. The name “Beckon” pays homage to the Spanish settlers of the Santa Maria region who introduced wine grape cultivation to California. With an old world feel, the label’s gold foil illustration depicts the native flora of California’s first wine region.
