Quirky, fun and highly artistic, Illustoria radically redefines what a child’s magazine should be. Pavement felt that the company’s brand identity needed to be as sophisticated and innovative as their product – something that would speak equally to a media-savvy child of the 21st century as well as to the adults in their lives. Their logo and font design employs a playful construction of mixed graphic elements, built one upon the other. It also subtly captures the delicate striations of a fingerprint – that unique, first signature of every child. The colors are pure and simple, specifically to invite children to invent their own color palettes.
