The name Upriver refers to a particularly rich terroir in the Willamette Valley AVA of Oregon. Pavement debuted this Pinot Noir with a label that balances the vintage look of an “etching” style river basin drawing with the immediacy and intimacy of handwritten varietal notations. It quickly communicates both the historical importance of this area as well as the artistry and passion needed to create this top-notch pinot noir.
